Bali Break - Sights and Activities
Tempak Sering
Famed for the spring water that is purported to improve the fortunes of those who bath with it.

S looking absolutely dapper in his flowy sarong.
When we arrived at hilltop restaurant recommended by the driver providing a vantage view Mt Kintanmani and the lake, it was already very cloudy. The mountain top was already cloud-covered and one could hardly make out the lake.
Very soon, the rain came and the view was no more. Coupled with the lousy buffet food, S expression aptly sums up the experience.
A visit was also made to the Ubud terrace padi fields. Not spectacular but nontheless, pleasant.
Uphill from the fields, lies many shops where many crafts could be bought at significantly lower prices than the Ubud market downhill.
Beach
The day at the beach started with the free parasailing provided by the villa. It was enjoyable being high up in the air, enjoying the winds and tranquility. Just don't mind the slightly frayed parachute ropes.

Thereafter, a nice chill at the serene shallow beaches of Nusa Dua.

Uluwatu
Meal at the multi-award winning Bumbuh Bali turned out to be decent but much less lip-smacking than the scrumpelicious dinner whipped out by our house-cook.
